Meet The Team

Devon Mitchell is a sophomore student at Syracuse University pursuing politics while also fulfilling his creative side with photography, videography, and as a creative director. He is into skating, metal and edm music, and all types of artistic expression. He notes that the freedom to create art and express feeling is the goal of Abstract Archive.

Ava Gorga is a sophomore student in the Bandier Program for Recording & Entertainment Industries at Syracuse University. She is from outside of Detroit, Michigan, and came to SU to pursue a career in the music industry. She is passionate about self-expression, music, art, and the people she loves. She is also a certified yoga instructor and passionate about personal wellness. She is so excited to share this project with you, dear viewer!

Madison Wasai is a junior undergraduate student studying Policy Studies with a minor in Public Communications Studies. She is from Dallas, Texas and hopes to pursue a career in communications within the entertainment industry. She is passionate about film, television, writing, and helping others. She is beyond excited to be a part of Abstract Archive!

Riga Czarkowski is a sophomore studying Spanish and Entrepreneurship at the Whitman School of Management. She is an assembly member in the Syracuse Student Association and has been actively working on the University Affairs board for over a year. She was born and raised in Boulder, Colorado where she was an active member of her local high school's Student Government. Riga is passionate about the great outdoors, the incredible environment that is live music, and pursuing an entrepreneurial career in women's health. She cannot wait to be part of this amazing, Abstract journey!

Tara Binte Sharil is a sophomore majoring in Magazine, News, and Digital Journalism with a minor in Data Analytics. She was born and raised in Singapore before moving to Omaha, Nebraska. She loves writing feature stories and everything about the entertainment industry; from film to fashion. Outside of writing, she enjoys photography and watching soccer. Like her fellow peers, she is more than excited to get started with Abstract!

Emma Celenza is a sophomore in the Bandier Program for Recording and Entertainment Industries with a minor in Sport Event Management. She is from the Philadelphia area and came to Syracuse University to research and pursue the intersection of music and sports. Outside of school, she is a journalist for a music magazine and cannot wait to contribute those skills at Abstract Archive.

Luca Seresin is a sophomore at Syracuse University studying Geology at the Maxwell School of Arts and Sciences. He’s pursuing a career in Paleontology, but uses fashion as his creative outlet. He was born in London before moving to Brooklyn, NY, where he was raised. Outside of school and styling, Luca loves to play soccer, basketball, and design clothes for himself. He cannot wait to contribute his experiences with elegance to Abstract.

Dylan Augustine is a sophomore studying Televison, Radio, and Film, as well as Marketing at Syracuse University. Born outside of Philadelphia, PA, he now resides in the coastal town of Long Beach Island, NJ. While pursuing a career in media/content creation, he seeks out multiple avenues to express his creativity one being fashion. Specifically looking to mix the norms of street wear and surf culture. When not in class, Dylan enjoys surfing, videography, and staying active in the gym. He is thrilled to be apart of our team and leave an impact on the community.
